The Stiperstones looking north

Dioceses are divided into Deaneries each with a Rural Dean who coordinates deanery activities. St George's is in the deanery of Pontesbury, and Preb. Philip Harrett, vicar of Chirbury, is the Rural Dean. Pontesbury is the most northerly of the Deaneries in the Diocese.
