All-age Worship band

Usually, once a month, the all-age worship band meets, accompanying and enhancing the church music in a different way.

As its title suggests, the band is made up of ‘musicians’ of all ages.  Anyone with a talent (however small) is welcome to join this group. Recorders through to the full range of orchestral instruments can apply! We meet at ten o’clock on the morning of the service to practise together. Music is always sent out beforehand by the organiser of the group, Roger Hughes.

There are always easy music parts for beginners and slightly more difficult for those at a higher level.  The music moves with a swing and, at times, has led quite elderly people to want to dance in the aisles.
